Preferences, not cookies
The text size, contrast and "reduce motion" settings you choose in the top bar, and your choice about measurement cookies, are stored using local storage (localStorage) in your browser — technically not cookies, they never leave your device, and they don't need your consent.

What never uses cookies
- Cloudflare Web Analytics: measures visits without cookies or personal data.
- YouTube in cookie-free mode (youtube-nocookie.com): playing a video doesn't store tracking cookies (it may store technical player preferences).
Google Maps
The map on the Contact page doesn't load on its own: it only appears if you click "Load the map." Once loaded, Google may store its own cookies per its policy.
How to change your choice
You can accept or decline measurement cookies in the banner shown the first time you visit, or reopen it anytime via "Cookie preferences" in any page's footer. You can also delete cookies from your browser settings.
