Our commitment
We aim to meet WCAG 2.1 level AA. It's a goal we keep working on, not a certification — we'd rather be honest about what's still missing than display a "100% accessible" badge that isn't true.
What we've already built
- Text size, contrast and motion
You can make text bigger or smaller, turn on high contrast and reduce animations from the top bar — settings are saved in your browser and applied site-wide.
- Keyboard navigation
The whole site can be used with Tab, including menus, forms and the photo viewer, with a skip link straight to the main content.
- Alt text and screen readers
Informative images have alt text, and state changes (like the live flight board) are announced to screen readers.
- Touch targets
Buttons and links are at least 44×44 pixels, so they're easy to tap on a phone.
- Content that loads on demand
The map and YouTube videos don't load on their own: they only activate if you click, so the page doesn't slow down or load things you didn't ask for.
Known limitations
Google's map and YouTube videos are third-party content: they may not meet the exact same standards as the rest of the site. Some News content is written directly in the airport's WordPress and, in some specific case, might be missing alt text.
